Attention all Year 1 Students

The Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme is supported by Highlands College. We will pay for the registration of £350 for the Silver Award and £100 for the Bronze Award, so please do not let cost be a barrier.

We would like as many of our Year 1 students as possible to take part in either the Bronze or Silver award. This is because we know that it offers positive, life changing experiences. Universities and employers recognise and value this is a highly regarded qualification which develops employability skills and independence.

Detailed below are useful websites/infographics about Duke of Edinburgh. If you would like any further details, please do not hesitate to contact me either by emailing Jordan.neill@highlands.ac.uk or by direct telephone number which is 608635.

A letter about the benefits of the scheme along with a consent form for those interested in taking part, has been sent to your parents/guardians.
