Higher National Certificate in Civil Engineering (Jersey)

Introduction

The Higher National Certificate (HNC) Diploma Civil Engineering will help prepare you for a career in infrastructure and building. Our world is shaped by civil engineers, who do everything from reviving inner cities to creating engineering wonders like the Channel Tunnel.

This course is intended for prospective civil engineers who are just starting out in the field. It offers a hands-on, design-focused learning experience and was created in partnership with Jersey's Civil Engineering sector and our longstanding partner and awarding body, London South Bank University (LSBU). If you are currently working for a civil engineering firm, you can apply to study independently and obtain the skills and qualifications needed to be successful in the field. The programme will be a minimum of two-years on a day release basis from 9am to 5pm (day in college to be advised).
