Highlands College Safeguarding

Safeguarding is our highest priority and we are committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for all students, staff and visitors.

Everyone - staff, students, parents, employers and visitors - has an important role to play in safeguarding. Every adult who interacts with students has a responsibility to keep them safe.

All staff operate with a mindset of "it could happen here," in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education (2022).

Our policies set out the expectations, rights, and responsibilities of all members of our college community - whether you're a student, parent, or staff member.
