Introduction

This two-year foundation degree is ideal for school leavers and career switchers who want to gain a recognised business qualification while launching a career in business or financial services. The course offers a pathway into one of Jersey’s most prominent industries - with the financial services sector accounting for over 40% of the island’s economy and more than 20% of its workforce. Career opportunities range from banking and trust administration to compliance, corporate governance, and beyond.

Designed in partnership with leading local employers, the programme reflects real industry needs and opens doors to a variety of business roles, both within and outside the finance sector. Graduates are equipped with the practical knowledge, skills, and confidence to succeed in a broad range of professional environments.

Entry requirements

  • 64 UCAS points
  • GCSE Maths and English at grade 4 or above
  • Other Level 3 qualifications will be considered and mature applicants with relevant professional experience or qualifications will be considered on an individual basis.

Learners on this course will undertake work-based learning, and will be supported to demonstrate a range of professional competencies. 

Applicants will be supported to secure suitable placement opportunities.
