Level 2 Diploma in Culinary Skills

Introduction

This one-year course is designed for individuals currently working in the hospitality industry who have already achieved a Level 1 qualification in professional cookery. Delivered on a day release basis, it enables learners to gain a formal Level 2 qualification while continuing employment in a professional kitchen environment.

The programme focuses on developing advanced culinary techniques, improving kitchen operations knowledge, and enhancing career prospects within the catering and hospitality industry. It is ideal for aspiring chefs looking to take on more responsibility or progress into a senior kitchen role.

Level 1 Certificate in Culinary Skills is desired, along with some working experience in the culinary and hospitality industry.

Entry Level 3 (or above) English is required. Applicants who do not meet this standard must complete an additional English course at their own cost.
