Our new innovative social work degree in partnership with the University of Plymouth enables you to earn while you learn. The excellently connected programme gives learner the opportunity to work with many employers to develop high quality professional industry skills. 

The flexible model of delivery is a hybrid of block weeks and one day per week lessons, alongside an enhanced online learning experience that works around your life commitments. This may be for individuals working in the social care industry, or people looking to undertake a new career path.

Entry requirements

· GCSEs or equivalent: Five at grade C/4 or above to include English
· A level/AS level: Minimum 104 -120 points, grades BBB, or equivalent - excluding General Studies. 
· Other Level 3 qualifications will be considered and mature applicants with relevant professional experience will be considered on an individual basis

Work experience

Students are required to complete a minimum of 200 days of work-based learning consisting of: 

· 30 Skills days across the three-year course
· One 70 day work placement during Year 2
· One 100 day work placement during Year 3
