British Citizenship Test

Highlands College is pleased to offer the Life in the UK Citizenship Test with the Jersey Supplement, a requirement for individuals applying for naturalisation as a British citizen while residing in Jersey.

This page provides all the information you will need to apply for the test.

Preparing for the Test

The test is based on two key resources:

  • Life in the United Kingdom: A Guide for New Residents (3rd Edition)
  • Jersey Supplement (October 2022): Provides a brief history and profile of life in Jersey, is available free of charge from the Customs and Immigration Service or Highlands College.

You must study both before sitting the test.

Naturalisation Advice

For guidance on naturalisation and immigration procedures, please contact the Passport Office at the Customs and Immigration Service.
