Introduction

The Pearson Edexcel International GCSE in Mathematics (Specification A) is a qualification which enables you to develop their knowledge and understanding of mathematical concepts and technique. 

On this course, you will learn how to acquire a foundation of mathematical skills for further study in the subject or related areas. You should be able to demonstrate problem-solving skills by translating problems in mathematical or non-mathematical contexts into a process or a series of mathematical processes.  

You'll also get to enjoy using and applying mathematical techniques and concepts, and become confident in using mathematics to solve problems. 

By the end of the course, we hope you will appreciate the importance of mathematics in society, employment and study.

This course runs on a Tuesday during term from 6-8pm.
