Introduction

This course is for adult learners (aged 19+) who wish to gain a GCSE in English Language and is also delivered to our further education learners. Ideal for those seeking to improve their literacy skills for personal growth, further education, or career progression, this course equips learners with essential, lifelong communication skills. It also provides a recognised qualification that supports access to a wide range of academic and vocational opportunities.

The course runs during term time only, taking place on a weekday evening from 18:00 – 20:30 (exact day to be confirmed). The qualification follows a clear and coherent structure, assessed through two externally examined papers, making it accessible and straightforward for adult learners returning to study.

This course supports continuous progression, giving learners the confidence and competence to achieve success in further education, training, or the workplace.
