Results Days 2025: What you need to know

Results Days are up there as some of the most important moments in your time at college, and we want to make sure both students and parents know exactly what to expect.

Cambridge A-level Results - Tuesday 12 August 2025

If you have taken Cambridge A-level exams, you can collect your results from the Exams Office, at Highlands College between 9am and 12pm.

A-level Results Day – Thursday 14 August 2025

This information is for people who have taken:

  • Pearson Edexcel, OCR and AQA A-levels
  • Pearson BTEC Level 3 qualifications (Year 2 only)
  • UAL qualifications (Years 1 and 2)

When and How to Access Results
Level 3 results will be available from 8am on Thursday 14 August via the Highlands Connect app. Students are encouraged to check their results online first thing in the morning.

For those who prefer to collect their results in person, our Great Hall will be open from 10am-12pm This is a great opportunity to speak to staff, celebrate your achievements, or discuss any queries you might have.

Please remember to bring photographic ID with you to collect your results.
Any results not collected in person by 12pm will be posted to students.

Important Information for Year One Level 3 Students
This year, students in the first year of a two-year Level 3 programme will not receive results, unless they have been transferred to a smaller qualification.

The only exception is for Year 1 Creative Arts students, who are welcome to collect results if they wish.

Support on the Day
As it’s the summer break for many of our staff, some Heads of Department may be present in the Great Hall between 10am-12pm to support students and answer any questions. Please know that this is optional for staff, but help will be on hand for anyone who needs guidance or clarification.

Need Help or Have Questions?
If you have questions ahead of Results Day, feel free to get in touch with your tutor or course leader before the summer break. On the day itself, staff will be available in the Great Hall to help with next steps, appeals, or progression advice.

We wish all our students the very best of luck – your hard work is about to pay off!
