Who is this course for?

This is a substantial accredited vocational qualification for learners seeking a career as an employed and/or self-employed Nail Technician

 

What are the entry requirements for the course?

Candidates should have good levels of written and verbal English skills to ensure the successful achievement of the theoretical assessment of this programme.

No previous experience in Nail services is required however any prior skills will be an advantage.

Candidates must be age 18 or over.

 

How long is this course?

This is a 28 week course commencing on Tuesday 22nd September 2020- Tuesday 11th May weekly 18.00 – 21.00

 

 

What will I study on this course?

The Level 2 Certificate in Nail Technology comprises of the following units:

  • Follow health and safety practcice in the salon
  • Client care and communication in beauty related industries
  • Provide manicure treatments
  • Provide pedicure treatments
  • Provide and maintain nail enhancements
  • LED Gel polish techniques

How is the course assessed?

5 x written assignments

6 x online exams
