Course Details
Demolishing the holiday camp in 2015 not only returned Plemont Headland to its natural beauty, it also revealed long concealed remains of fortifications constructed here during the Occupation. These were the latest in over 200 years of military history on this site, from Napoleonic to WW2. Learn all about the military and other history of Plemont on this picturesque ramble around the National Trust site with historian Ian Ronayne, including Jersey’s first communication connections with the outside world and stepping back into prehistory to visit Geonnais Dolmen. The walk will start at Plemont Car Park.£29
