CMI: Level 3 Principles of Management and Leadership

Who is this course for?

These qualifications are aimed at practicing or aspiring managers will supervise or manage a team to achieve clearly defined outcomes. They will set and monitor goals and objectives by providing instruction, direction and guidance. Day to day operational and project activities are a key part of their role.

 

What are the entry requirements for the course?

There are no formal entry requirements, however the HP team will discuss the course content and assessment requirements in details with you in the first instance to ensure you are placed on the right qualification.  

 

How long is this course?

Delivery is through daytime workshops (9:00 am to 5:00 pm) delivered over a 9-12-month period.

We schedule the modules on a rolling programme, therefore you can start the programme with any of the modules and they do not need to be taken in a specific order.

Unit 308 – Managing Volunteers/5 credits: – 9 December 2021

Unit: 301  – Principles of Management and Leadership/7 credits –  14 January 2022

Unit: 310 –  Supporting Teams and Individuals Through Change/5 credits  – 17 February 2022

Unit: 306  –  Principles of Equality, Diversity, and Inclusive Working Practices /6 credits – 14 March 2022

Unit: 305  – Building Stakeholder Relationships using Effective Communication/4 credits – 14 April 2022

Unit: 312  – Managing Daily Activities to Achieve Results/4 credits   – 2 May 2022

Unit: 301  – Principles of Management and Leadership/7 credits  – 30 May 2022

Unit: 311  – Contributing to the Delivery of a Project/6 credits – 23 June 2022

Unit:321   – Managing Own Personal and Professional Development/ 5 credits – 21 July 2022

Unit:317    – Supporting the Delivery of Customer Service/ 5 credits – 18 August 2022

Unit 303 -Managing Individuals to be Effective in their Role/ 5 credits: – 23 September 2022

 

What Qualification will I gain?

CMI Level 3 Award in Principles of Management and Leadership
Learners must complete at least one unit to a minimum of 4 credits to achieve this qualification.

CMI Level 3 Certificate in Principles of Management and Leadership
Learners must complete any combination of units to a minimum of 13 credits to achieve this qualification.

CMI Level 3 Diploma in Principles of Management and Leadership
Learners must complete any combination to a minimum of 37 credits to achieve this qualification.

 

How is the course assessed?

To successfully complete the programme, delegates must complete both written and practical assignments, one of which is assessed by the Institute.

 

What does this course lead on to?

On completion of the qualification delegates can progress onto CMI Level 5 Qualifications in Management and Leadership.

 

How much will it cost?

Award:  minimum of 4 credits (1 unit) required.  

The Cost of one Unit £333 + CMI Membership fee of £118

Certificate: minimum of 13 credits required (3 units)

The Cost of 3 Units + CMI Membership fee of £162 

Diploma: minimum of 37 Credits required (7/8 units)        

The Cost of 7/8 Units + CMI Membership fee of £225
