CIPD Level 5 – Associate Diploma in People Management

Who is this course for?

This qualification extends and fosters a deeper level of understanding and application, supporting learners to progress their expertise in people practice and management.

A progression route for those who have completed the CIPD Level 3 Foundation Certificate in People Practice

 

 

What are the entry requirements for the course?

This qualification is designed for learners aged 18 + who want to learn about people practice.

 Students are required to attend a pre-course diagnostic interview before enrolment to ensure that this qualification is appropriate for the learner.

Students may have completed the CIPD Foundation Certificate in People Management, or be currently working in HR but with no professionally recognised qualifications.  

 

How long is this course?

The programme is run over 15 months at Highlands Professional, Highlands College,

Attendance is weekly: 16:00pm – 19:00pm during term time, commencing September 2024 – December 2025

Next course commences: September 2024 

Attendance is compulsory at all workshops, this is a face to face programme with some online sessions

 

 

What will I study on this course?

At Level 5, a learner:

  • can analyse, interpret and evaluate relevant information, concepts and ideas.
  • is aware of the nature and scope of the area of study or work.
  • understands different perspectives, approaches or schools of thought and the reasoning behind them.
  • can determine, adapt and use appropriate methods, cognitive and practical skills to address broadly defined, complex problems.
  • can use relevant research or development to inform actions.
  • can evaluate actions, methods, and results.

 

What Qualification will I gain?

Upon successful completion of all 7 modules you will be awarded the CIPD Level 5 Associate Diploma in People Management.

 

How is the course assessed?

All assessments for this qualification are criterion reference, based on the achievement of specific outcomes. The assessments are employer driven and aimed at real scenarios that the learner may encounter in their future career. 

To achieve a pass for this qualification, a learner must have satisfied all the assessment criteria for each core unit.

Learners must attend all workshops.

Assignment dates are fixed and are non-negotiable.

We highly recommend that you compare all dates associated with each workshop carefully to ensure that your personal circumstances will enable you to fulfil the requirements of the course.
