Who is this course for?
In order to complete the apprenticeship and be a qualified tradesman, an apprentice must have a full Level 3 Diploma.
What are the entry requirements for the course?
Completion of Level 3 or similar NVQ Level 2 qualification
How long is this course?
A 1 year part-time course commencing September 2017
One day per week: – 8.30am to 5.00pm
What will I study on this course?
The units studied at Level 1 and 2 are covered in great detail, the fabrication becomes more complex and all welding consists of working in the overhead position.
What Qualification will I gain?
ABC Welding and Fabrication Practice Level 3 Diploma
How is the course assessed?
By successful completion of a mix of externally set examinations and assessed practical tasks
