Course Details
This five week course invites students into the world of Daphne du Maurier, tracing characters, themes and locations in a taste of her long-form and short-form fiction. Starting with a return to Manderley, the country house in Rebecca, the course will analyse her writing style, review biographical context, and explore du Maurier’s enduring popularity as an author of macabre tales.
