IMI - Level 3 Award in Electric/Hybrid Vehicle System Repair and Replacement

Introduction

The content of this qualification has been designed to give learners the knowledge and skills required to work safely on High Voltage systems on Electric/Hybrid vehicles while carrying out the removal and refitting of High voltage parts. This may include vehicles that may have or have had damage to their high-energy/electrical system.

This course is for people with an existing IMI Level 2 Motor Vehicle qualification (or equivalent), and who are currently employed in the automotive industry.

Please note that before proceeding with your application to the course, you must ensure the following:

  • You do not have a medical implant (such as a pacemaker)
  • You will wear long sleeves on the training days
  • You will abide by all safety recommendations
