Level 2 Diploma in Site Carpentry

Introduction

This course is the City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma in Site Carpentry (6706-23), for aspiring carpenters wishing to study as an apprentice at college. Applicants will need to have the support of a relevant employer who will allow attendance at college one-day per week and work the remaining days in industry. 

The course will develop knowledge and skills whilst simultaneously working alongside industry professionals in the workplace to become a fully qualified carpenter. The course is split over two years with the first year focusing on enabling skills to prepare for final assessments in Year 2.

Must be fully employed in the trade to access this course. A student who loses their sponsor part way through, is allowed to remain on the course for up to six weeks to secure a new employer.
