Barista Skills - Level 2 Award

Introduction

This qualification provides learners with specialist knowledge and hands-on training in one of the fastest growing sectors of the hospitality industry - the beverage and coffee service sector.

Designed for first-line operatives working in settings such as coffee bars, cafes, hotels, and restaurants, the course introduces the full range of products used in beverage preparation. Learners will explore the origins and production processes of coffee - from cultivation and harvesting to the techniques that go into brewing the perfect cup.

This short course is ideal for those looking to start or progress in a barista role within the hospitality industry and is currently run over three six-hour sessions.
