Level 3 Diploma in Electrotechnical

Introduction

This is the City and Guilds 5357 apprenticeship programme. It is designed for aspiring electricians to study as an apprentice at college to become qualified in the trade. Applicants will need to have the support of a relevant employers who will allow attendance at college for one day per week and work the remaining days in industry. It is important to note that specific work must be available, through your employer, for you to practice during the apprenticeship in order to achieve the competency units within the qualification.

The course will develop knowledge and skills whilst simultaneously working alongside industry professionals in the workplace to to demonstrate your competence in the industry. The course is delivered over four years, and upon successful completion you will be eligible to take the AM2S assessment, which enables entry into the Competent Person Scheme.
