Level 2 Diploma in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Principles

Introduction

This course is the Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI) Level 2 Diploma in light vehicle maintenance and repair. It is designed for aspiring motor vehicle technicians wishing to study as an apprentice at the college. Applicants will need to have the support of a relevant employer who will allow attendance at college for one day per week and work the remaining days in industry.

The course will develop knowledge and skills whilst simultaneously working alongside industry professionals in the workplace to become a fully qualified Technician. The course is split over two years with a variety of units being completed in each.
