This two-year, day-release course is designed for aspiring plumbers who wish to pursue their career through an apprenticeship pathway. It provides the technical knowledge and practical skills required to progress toward becoming a fully qualified plumber, while working in the industry alongside experienced professionals.
Learners must be employed in a relevant plumbing role and supported by an employer willing to release them one day per week to attend college. The remaining days will be spent gaining valuable hands-on experience in the workplace.
The course is delivered in two stages:
Year 1 focuses on developing core plumbing skills and underpinning knowledge
Year 2 prepares students for their final assessments and further industry responsibilities
