Who is this course for?
This course is for anyone interested in learning the basics of using gaming software, Unreal Engine, to create virtual worlds and characters for creative media productions.
What are the entry requirements for the course?
Confidence when learning and using software is required.
An interest in photography and/or media production will be an advantage.
How long is this course?
The course will run for 12 weeks – Monday evening 18:00 – 21:00 starting 20th January 2022.

An Introduction to Unreal Engine
An Introduction to Setting Up your Camera and Physical Set Area in Preparation for Virtual Production
Setting up your Completed Virtual Set Area in your Physical Studio Space
Presenting to Camera. Presenting for Virtual Production
Using Motion Capture to Create Virtual Characters for your Production
Editing your Production and Preparing it for Export using Adobe Premiere Pro

Assessment will be through ongoing feedback from the tutor.
