Welding Skills
Introduction
A 20-week course in which students will undertake training in welding. Students will choose the process that best suits their needs from metal arc gas shielded (MIG), tungsten arc gas shielded (TIG) or manual metal arc welding. Students will gain the knowledge and skills to be awarded an internationally recognised certificate at Level 2 or 3, depending on experience. Students will learn all the theory and practical skills required for beginners or skilled welders who require certification.
The cost of one unit's assessment is included in the course fees.
This course will run on Monday evenings at Highlands College, St Saviour.
