Pottery for Improvers (Studio)
Introduction
This nine-week course taught by Ray Ubsdell is designed for students who have completed Pottery for Intermediates or have equivalent experience and are ready to further develop their skills in a studio setting. With expert guidance and support from your tutor, you’ll continue to explore both hand-building techniques and wheel throwing, creating a variety of unique and functional ceramic pieces.
All work will be kiln-fired using a two-stage process - biscuit and glaze - to ensure high-quality, lasting results.
At the end of the course, you’ll take home a collection of finished pieces that reflect your growth and creativity.
