Client Work

Students get the opportunity to work on external projects for real life clients. In this particular case, we created a promotional film for 'Channel 103FM' to be shown at the 'Big Gig in the Park' as part of their fund raising effort for 'Help a Jersey Child'

Motion Graphics

As part of the Extended Diploma in Media, students take part in a Motion Graphics unit, where they are given the option of either creating an animated ident for a production company, or a title sequence for a children's science-fiction television programme. This particular video is a production company ident.

Presentation Techniques

As part of the 'Presentation Techniques' unit, students often have to be in front of the camera as well as behind. Here is documentary about the Freemasons, presented by Ellie Wood

Drama

Students on the second year of the Extended Diploma in Media course plan and create a 10 minute original video drama. This is an example of one of those dramas.

TV Advertisements

As part of the 'Advertising' Unit, students create an original TV advert lasting up to 30 seconds.

Soundtrack for TV & Film

As part of the 'Soundtrack for TV & Film' Unit, students are asked to re-record the soundtrack of a scene in a film, which includes not only the voices, but music, sound effects and foley. This particular recording has well over 100 individual sound elements to it.
