Foundation Degree in Childhood Studies ("Subject to validation")
This proposed degree will be designed for school/college leavers and mature entrants who wish to work in a wide variety of childcare settings, including teaching assistants, who are keen to become senior practitioners or work in management roles. It is envisaged that the degree will be validated by the University of Plymouth and will be taught over 2 years full-time with work based learning being a feature of the course. A part-time version is also likely to be available.
