This course is designed for therapists who have an existing body massage qualification and want to develop their holistic
skills further

A 18 week part-time course beginning September 2009
Friday evening: 11 September 2009 to 5 February 2010
Time: 6.00pm to 9.30pm

What are the entry requirements for this course?
Candidates must possess the Body Massage Certificate or a recent Certificate of anatomy and Physiology (within three
years).
Awarding Body requirement – A thorough understanding of English is required due to the compulsory assessments and
complex vocabulary needed for Anatomy and Physiology. Training in English as a second language can be arranged
PRIOR to the commencement of the course. Learning support screening will be undertaken for all students at the start of
the course and support given where identified.

What will I study on this course?
External test M12 - Health & Safety; External test M74 - Employment standards
M127 - Assess the client and blend oils for aromatherapy massage
M128 - Provide Aromatherapy Massage; M160 - Consultation techniques

What qualification will I gain?
Level 3 Certificate in Aromatherapy Massage

Test papers, assignment, client case study and practical assessment
