Who is this course for?

Network+ is an ISO-17024 compliant, vendor-neutral technology certification that verifies the certified individual has the skills and knowledge needed to take on a pivotal role in building, managing, and protecting the critical asset that is the data network.

    What are the entry requirements for the course?

    Typical candidates have CompTIA A+ Certification or equivalent knowledge, but it is not a prerequisite.

     

    How long is this course?

    Thursday evenings 18.00-21.00 hrs for ten weeks, commencing 14th September 2017.

     

    What will I study on this course?

    CompTIA Network+ covers the configuration, management, and troubleshooting of common wired and wireless network devices. Also included are emerging technologies such as unified communications, mobile, cloud, and virtualization technologies.

     

    What Qualification will I gain?

    CompTIA Network + N10-006.

     

    How is the course assessed?

    Online examination held in our Testing Centre at Highlands College.

    The date of the examination will be organised at the start of the course.

     

    What does this course lead on to?

    Further CompTIA Certification and/or Microsoft Certified Professional Courses.
