Who is this course for?

This programme is intended for people who are responsible for leading a team which directly provides services or produces goods.  It is equally valuable for the person who wants to develop towards a future role as a team leader.  It is extremely relevant for individuals wishing to study while they work.

The course induction is held at Highlands College where students will be provided with a comprehensive introduction to the course content by the tutor.

Students will then be given an introduction to our online e-learning environment (Moodle) and the course administation.

Thereafter students study at home through the provision of online learning materials with the support of an hour long 1:1 tutorial per module if required (additional email and telephone support can also be arranged if required).  

Students will be provided with full reading lists and have access to the Learning Resources Centre at Highlands College and the CMI Managment Direct website.

 

What are the entry requirements for the course?

There are no formal entry requirements, however, you must attend a pre course interview before enrolling.

 

How long is this course?

The course must be successfully completed within one year and students will receive assignment submission dates.

  • Communicating with a Team
  • Monitoring Team Performance
  • Developing Team Needs
  • Providing Customer Service
  • Controlling Resources

 

What Qualification will I gain?

The Level 2 qualification in Team Leading offers a highly flexible approach to learning. 

On completion you will gain the CMI Diploma in Team Leading.

 

How is the course assessed?

To successfully complete the programme, students must complete written assignments. 

 

What does this course lead on to?

On completion of the qualification delegates can progress onto CMI Level 3: First Line Management.

 

How much will it cost?

Diploma £895 plus CMI Registration fee of £127. 

Delegates are required to register as student members of the Chartered Management Institute.
