How is the course assessed?

What does this course lead on to?

As a graduate of this programme you will have a range of professional skills and knowledge along with the confidence to work within the financial sector.  Your studies and the experience you have gained working for, and with, organisations in completing the FdA Financial Services and the BA (Hons) Financial Services give you the ability to make an informed choice of the sector you wish to make your career in and the skills to start your career.

You may not, however, want to go straight into employment after you finish your honours degree.  Should you wish to undertake further research within a discipline either directly relevant to or closely related to this degree, then you can study for a higher degree, usually contingent on achieving high grades in your BA (Hons) Financial Services.  One option may be to progress to a Masters Degree.  Graduates of this programme (with at least a 2:2) are able to progress to MSc in Business and Management at Plymouth University.
