1781CK1S01 : Swing Knitting : Dimensional Knitting Using Short Rows

Course OutlineCourse Details
Come and create amazing swing knitting projects on this new course. This technique using short rows enables your work to be more dimensional and interesting, adding waves of colour and fluidity. A bit of a WOW factor too. It is used in garments, socks, scarves and other items. We will be working on a simple project to get used to the technique which is easy to learn with practice. Then we will choose an item to continue using these skills, a scarf, bag, cushion or part of a throw. It will enhance a lot of your knitting choices that may require this. Short rows are an element of knitting socks too. Suitable for knitters with knowledge of casting on and off, knitting and purling stitches, decreasing and increasing.
