This page has been made to help you understand how our salons are managed to make them both a safe and professional environment for your hairdressing and beauty treatments and our training hairdressers and beauty therapists.

Colour services require clients to have a skin test 48hrs prior to the appointment. This is for your safety and will help ensure that you will not have an allergic reaction to the colour that we use. This is now a salon policy and we will not proceed with the service unless this test has been carried out.

To ensure our students can cover all the assessments required to achieve their qualifications we do not allow clients to request specific students for services. Please remember this when making appointments.

Within the training environment, services take longer than they would do in industry. We ask that clients are on time for appointments to ensure that the students are not put under pressure. If a client is late this may result in the service not taking place.

May we respectfully ask clients not to tip students personally. All student tips are collated and used for an ‘off-Island’ trip to Salon International at the end of the academic year. These are Hairdressing and Beauty Exhibitions in London which give the students the opportunity to see the Hairdressing and Beauty Industry at its best.

For health and Safety purposes the Hairdressing and Beauty Salons will not perform any services on clients under the age of 16.

Babies and small children are not permitted in any of the salons for Health & Safety reasons.

There are occasions when due to training or assessment requirements, that appointments may have to be cancelled at relatively short notice. We endeavour to always give as much notice as possible should this occur, and apologize for the inconvenience that may result.
