Highlands students have produced a promotional video for Careers Jersey.
A crew from the college’s Level 3 Media Production course attended the Jersey Skills Show 2016, which was held on 15 October at Fort Regent, to film the event and interview exhibitors.
‘The students worked independently using skills that they have learnt on the course. The project was part of their compulsory work experience activities where they work on live briefs for real clients,’ said Jason Grainger, Director of Arts and Communication.
The video will be used by Skills Jersey to promote future events, and it will also be invaluable for the students themselves as part of their show reel when they apply for jobs and university courses.
Students from Motor Vehicle, Plumbing, Electrical, Brickwork, and Welding and Fabrication were also represented at the Skills Show 2016.
